Dropshare 5.50 (macOS) and 3.39 (iOS) or later
To synchronize connections to different macOS or iOS devices from Dropshare for macOS, make sure all devices are signed in to the same iCloud account and iCloud Drive is enabled.
Go to Preferences, Connections in Dropshare for macOS, select a connection and click Synchronize… in the connection menu.
Your connection credentials will be encrypted before synchronizing them to your iCloud. Please enter a passphrase in the window that appears, that is used to encrypt your data, and also required when importing the connection on another device.
Importing a connection on another Mac
To import a synchronized connection on macOS, go to Preferences, Connections and select Add Connection… In the wizard, click Import from iCloud at the bottom left corner.
Select any of the available connections, and click Import Connection. You will be prompted to enter the passphrase again, and the connection will be imported and can be used for uploading files.
Importing a connection on another iOS device
To import a synchronized connection on iOS, go to Settings, Manage Connections and select the + button in the top right corner. Select Import from iCloud at the bottom of the screen.
Select any of the available connections. You will be prompted to enter the passphrase again, and the connection will be imported and can be used for uploading files.
