This is only usually required when you're being asked to do so by us in a support ticket.
Dropshare saves credentials, such as passwords, in the macOS keychain. Sometimes, under certain circumstances, Dropshare fails to read items from the keychain, which leads to unwanted behaviour such as failed connections due to missing credentials.
To sort this issue out, please do the following:
- Quit Dropshare
- Open "Keychain Access.app"
- Click "Open Keychain Access" in case you are being asked if you want to open Passwords instead
- Search for Dropshare in the top right
- Delete all entries with Kind "application password"
- Start the app again, and set up the connection again or try to enter the password of the connection again
